1990-300sl conv top replacement

Can any one adviise as to where I might get instructions for replacing this top.I have read one of the posts and it sounds difficult.I am considering doing it-------have done the older sl's.I know its not the same----------.Thanks

Try this site:http://www.worlduph.com. They list the instructions for the 107 sl's, but not sure if they have them listed for the newer ones. Good luck.

I tried the site--and they do not have the procedure for the latest sl top style(90 300sl).Any other suggestions?

Haven't been able to locate a free set of instructions, but www.alldata.com lists auto recalls and repair info for a fee, and top replacement for the 300sl is listed. Best of luck. BOB

I am considering replacing the top on my '90 SL as well - Alldata has some pretty good information, with pictures and they list the supplies and tools you will need to do the job. I used the info from thier site when I removed the dash to replace the evaporator, and that information was pretty accurate.
