If you want to know how crooked a stick is, just lay a straight one next to it.

It's not the tall sails that bring a ship to the port of destination, but the unseen wind.

Cold and rainy Upstate New York... soon to be cold and snowy. Its going to be tough putting the SL into the garage for the winter... its heater works 10 times better than the Grand Cherokee!!

I live in Houston. We bottle our air and sell it for bug spray in Vermont. We can't keep a cat because the alligators keep eating them. When you come into town, they search you for guns, and if you don't have any, they give you one, because your gonna need it!

Jack Cann from Fort Nelson, Canada, a few kliks from the 60th North. I work 11 months in the oil patch to pay my taxes and fix my 380SL which is stored at my house on Vancouver Island. It's worth it for the pleasure I get in that 1 month. Today it was -22C, overcast and windy and summer looks quite far away. I enjoyed seeing where everyone hails from. Tx.

I am here

Rockport, Massachusetts - On the coast about 30 miles north of Boston. We like to catch fish in the summer and hibernate in the winter. Not a great environment for a soft top which makes the new SLK a great choice. We actually get to drive it about 9 months of the year and it has to hibernate under a cover for about 3 months.

I need a garage and a longer summer and I will be good to go!

Tropical

Malaysia, not exactly the kind of weather that will have anyone with a SL driving *topless*. It is increadibly hot today and the increasing clouds are surely signalling rain later tonight. My W107 500SL has the hardtop on always
I should have just stayed on in Raleigh, NC..............
