I need to move

Too cold in Ohio right now. Last time I drove the SL (sometime after Thanksgiving) it was 45 degrees and I was definitely the only one heading north on I75 toward Toledo with the top down. Since then, it's been too cold even for me. 15 last night (7 last week)...but, this morning the sun was out so bright I thought, let's at least drive it with the top up. Looked at the daily driver (BMW 740i) covered with salt, and decided against pulling the SL out. Good thing, the roads are still white with the stuff. 15 again tonight, snow flurries in the morning, freezing rain expected Friday night. I'm not even from this place. Retired from the Air Force and was living here at the time. Six years ago! Anyone want to buy a house with heated garage space for six cars? Hello sunshine, I need to go somewhere warm

Should have made sure your last base was Eglin. That's where my brother in law was when he got out (after 21 years). He's STILL down there!

South florida is the place for you. Tops down all winter....except when it rains. Summer is a different story. Top down in the evenings. Too hot during the day........

I had a real good time last time I was there. First visited my sister and brother in law near Gainesville, real back-woods, non-touristy area (Cross Creek, FL, near Micanopy), then did the Disneyworld thang for 2 days (DON'T let them talk you into taking a time-share tour just to be able to buy a 2 day pass, or if you do, tell the guide right away you aren't interested ), then Cape Canaveral/KSC (I liked the tour of the old areas of the base and the rocket garden area, MY kinda stuff!). Then went to St Augustine for a few days, which was real nice and relaxing.
