I have a 1997 mercedes e-300 diesel with IR receiver in driver door instead of lock. The plastic is GONE. The unit works perfectly. Can anyone advise as to where I can source only the IR unit? The dealer here says only replaceable with door handle for $300 -outrageous! Please help.
