US R107 SL headlamp wiper system
Was the US R107 SL ever available with a headlamp wiper system? Maybe an extremely rare option, like on a dual headlamp BMW ?

No.
I've seen one photo of a 107 Euro with headlamp wipers, but I'd have to wonder if they might have been some sort of retrofit as I've *only* seen it once. Headlamp wipers pretty much require that the headlamp surface be fairly flat, and at least be one surface per side; I can't see a practical system being possible with the four-eyed version of our cars.
