Back On The Road Again!

I have just taken my 380SL out of storage after a brute of a winter here in Toronto and found it operating flawlessly through an intial one-hour run today. Lots of road trips planned for this summer.

How about others out there who must store for the winter? Are you back on the road now or do you need to wait for a while longer?

Have been sneaking mine out from time to time on what we consider, "nice", days. Looks like spring has finally arrived now though, with temps supposed to get into the 70's this weekend. The top is down!!!

Been on the road now for about 10 days -- I will take the hard top off this weekend!

Like PJG56, mine has been out on nice days. I'm planning to get it out tonight for the weekend. (I store it in a garage about 5 miles from home.) Put over a hundred miles on it the last nice day we had. Enjoy!!

It's about 8:30pm, and my wife and I just got back from dinner. We took the Benz, of course, and had the top down. She was a bit chilly on the way home, because she forgot to bring a sweater or jacket, so I had the heater cranked up for her. What a great day it was to go topless!!!

Tomorrow's my day. My wife and I will head north of Toronto to the lake district for our first topless drive of the year provided the rain stays away. Can't wait.

Mine's been out a couple of weeks now; started on the very first turn, just as though it had been shut down five minutes, and was ready to go. Out yesterday with the top off for the first time of the season--the love story continues!
