91 300sl expansion valve

Can any one tell me the best way to access the expansion valve on a 91 300sl...remove brake booster or plastic air plenum assy?I need to replace o-rings! Thanks , Dan

You have to unbolt the windshield wiper assembly and move it aside, remove all of the plastic pieces below the windshield, and remove the filter housing to access the expansion valve. Can be done in less than an hour.

Thanks for the info.Does the whole wiper assy(motor&arm)need to be moved or just the arm that is attached to the motor?Thanks,Dan

You need to remove the entire assembly mechanically but it is not necessary to disconnect it electrically.
