107 Turn Signal Assembly Replacement

Well, it looks like something hit my SL and destroyed the turn signal assembly and broke a fog light lens. I've looked in the service manual and can't find anything dealing with removing the turn signal assembly. I can feel two bolts/screws that mount it to the bumper, but that's not my immediate problem. I need to know how to disconnect the wire leading to the assembly. Do I need to remove the front spoiler? I can't even figure out where the wire is going. It's the passenger side if that makes any difference.

Anybody got a spare one laying around?

Looks like the turn signal assembly plugs into the back of the headlight. I removed the headlight, removed the connector from the wire, and and pulled the wire out from the turn signal side. Putting a new one in will be interesting. It looks like I'll have to remove the front spoiler to put the turn signal assembly back on.
