Sad News re my SL320

http://homepage.mac.com/deneals/PhotoAlbum54.html

I really enjoyed my SL320.

I'd like to find a similar car for immediate purchase.

If you have any leads or ideas, I'd appreciate a heads-up.

Ouch!!! Sorry to see it met its demise, but good that you're OK.

I just bought a 95 SL320 with 86K for $16K in Houston.

I hope you enjoy yours. I paid about the same at a dealer last year. It just had had the head gasket replaced and the dreaded wiring harness replaced under warrantee before I bought the car.

I only had it a little less than a year.

Daniel Schmitt (Lindbergh) had a 95 SL500 but I see it's gone now. Are you looking just for an SL320?

Saw the photo of your facial burns from the airbag...did they hurt?

Hi guys Thanks for looking.
The face belongs to my 17 y/o daughter. The burns don't hurt, but for her they're uncomfortable.

An SL500 may be the thing. I really like the heated seats, which were standard on the 500; optional on the 320. My 320 had them, and I think they're a necessity for me.

I saw a 97 SL320 today, but no seats and no CD. New P6's though. New soft topwindows, too.

I'm glad you are OK, daughter too. Remember, it's just a car. You are alive and that's what counts. There are plenty of cars.

C'mon, a bandage on the fender and a little dab of paint and the car will be fine.

Seriously, I'll vouch that airbags hurt. I vaporized a deer with the front end of an S500 while doing about 160 kph.

Glad you're both ok!
