This is the worst news I've heard in a long time. I Hope that this is just a temporary problrm, and everyting comes together for both of you. Will Fastlane still be open?

Wow this is a big shock!
I have always wanted to visit that shop. I hope you guys do well in whatever you decide to do next. Wow I was also scared for awhile that Fastlane and MS would close  omg I would be up the river without a paddle if this site shuts down.

I am sorry that you are closing down shop. I liked your articles and pictures of tuning/customiziing Merecedes. I hope you will still have future projects like the ones you had at your shop.

I really did enjoy visiting your shop. Excellent work at a good price, and you're clearly as honest as they come. I was on the site today to check into taking my car over there--an hour away from where I live--because it's the only other shop I trust in the area, and frankly I'd pick you over my guy any day if I could get there regularly. Thanks again--exhaust system still perfect after two years. Good luck with your future ventures!

Ya know, it's kinda frightening. When honest, top-notch shops have to close their doors, we are in trouble. A lot of the folks on this web page are DIYs, but we are the exception. Most folks really need a good shop to take care of their cars. Where does this leave those folks and their cars? Was this some local aberration or something that is going on all over? Would be interesting to hear from all the shop owners and mechanics out there.
