Looking for good MB shop in Sugar Hill, Ga.

Just Kidding:D :D WoW! The place looks great, but are you guys really gonna let CARS come in there??:p

Captain, I did a double take when I first saw..

your post. LOL. Hard to miss MBAutowerks from where your're from!

Invoice 13

Well, I didn't get invoice number 1, but I did get the thirteenth one. For those of you who haven't visited yet, what a great shop. It takes me the better part of an hour to get there (usually rush hour one way or the other, what else in Atlanta), but what great service. More to the point, Donnie, I can see! The lights on my 94SL 500 were terrible, and Donnie found a solution that seems to be working great. He can tell you what he did, but I have new bulbs, and new lenses, and can actually see the road in front of me again. (May seem funny, but I came close to creaming someone jaywalking a few weeks ago, which is when I decided I needed something done with the lights.) Anyway, what a great experience everytime I have dealt with Donnie and Bill. Congratulations on the shop.

Thanks!!!

Thanks for the kind words and support.
Donnie and I are really proud of our new shop and can't wait to provide the best service to any and all of our MercedesShop family. We do plan to have a "Grand Opening" sometime in the spring. In the mean time we invite you to come by and take a look around.

Support our MB Autowerks !

Come on guys if you live in the Atlanta area, use MB Autowerks, it's not that far and the prices are very fair!

Maddog 03-27-2002 11:23 PM

It is just very hard to get someone to drive out there with me when i drop off the car. I will see what i can do soon enough though because i wanna see how the service is.

captaincrunch 03-28-2002 08:47 AM

I'd love to support MB Autowerks. I think what they're doing here is wonderful and says a lot about their intergrity. I feel that they are very trustworthy and fair and I've never met them.

It's just that I'm an hour away. I can't just stop by an drop off the car. It will take at least 1/2 day to go up there, stay there during service, and then get home, to Jonesboro, through traffic.

I plan on letting them check this car out as soon as I can block off time.

Custom Exhaust shop in Atlanta

I need to put a custom exhaust system on my car and i don't even know where to begin to look for a shop. Any suggestions?

Dropped my ride at Autowerks today

I left my 300SD with Donnie this afternoon for some front end work. Waiting for a call from him in the AM for the good/bad news on how much it's gonna cost me
You guys have got to see this place. It looks nice in the pictures, but they don't do it justice. Bill and Donnie have built quite a place. After seeing the shop my wife is worried that my leaky old beast is going to mess up the beautiful white floors. :D
Bill says that so far my old boy at 365k is the highest mileage car they have had in there! Whoo hoo. Do I get a trophy for that?

ck42 04-02-2002 09:51 PM

Joe:

I think I'm gonna have to make a run up there this Fri. or Sat. and check the place out.

I've been wanting to get the engine cleaned at their place....maybe I'll be the first to mess up the car wash area :D

ck42 05-02-2002 06:41 PM

Woops....forgot to give an update. :p

I left the car there for the day to have a small list of things done.

Bottom line: They are completely professional about everything. All work was done exactly as specified. No surprises. One of the exceedingly rare places in this world where I feel totally at-ease actually leaving my car in the hands of a repair shop!!!

I'll be bringing the car back in for another list of repairs/installs next week before I make a trip down to Orlando.

Donnie and Bill run a first class operation! :D

Oil Change in Atlanta?

I'm looking for a good place to get oil changes in downtown Atlanta. I live in the Virginia Highlands area and I can't really justify the drive to MB Autowerks for this.

Cheers,
Brent

Michael 06-05-2002 08:11 AM

So, get Benzmac to do your oil change AND give your car a good once-over; isn't it nice to have a qualified tech fiddling around in there?:)

bbonet 06-05-2002 08:41 AM

I love MB Autowerks too, but

I can't take 3+ hours to get an oil change - I live way downtown. Between dumping my piece of crap Jetta and buying my current beast, I've taken enough time off of work. Trust me, Donnie get's a "once over" on my car every couple of months. I'm sure Donnie would love to give me an oil change on a Saturday - NOT.

Cheers,
Brent

Benzmac 06-06-2002 08:35 PM

Thanks Brent.

I have had a good time working with you. I have a friend that ownes a shop called Classic Repair. I think the number is 404-292-2683. I hope this is the right number. Ask for Matt.

If it is not correct, just call me.
