I believe that is exactly what happened since I needed to replace the mounting clip when I arrived.

I have great and huge respect for SteveBFL. His accolades in the MB Community are significant and not easily achieved.

I went to Ultimate Euro Repairs in Davie and was not all that impressed.

It is a father and son operation.

The father (Raul) didn't seem real interested in listening to a highly knowledgeable customer and wanted to do it "his way". Not a hands on guy. He kind of oversees the operations and farms the work down to the techs, none of which were real sharp tools if you know what I mean.

I came in for an oil change (to test out the shop) and the owner, Raul, was upset that I was interrupting his lunch as he wanted everyone to eat at a certain time.

Not the way to treat a customer.

The son, however, was fantastic. Light years better social skills than the father.

In the end, the father (Raul) warmed up a tad and charged me a fair rate for a simple job.

I wasn't impressed that they gave the vehicle a once over and didn't catch the plastic bag that the condenser fan ingested...I even asked them about the fan making a fluttering noise...

Son was great. But the techs were substandard grease monkeys and perhaps I just caught the father on a bad day, but he had the "kiss the ring" attitude...for nothing.

The shop is in desperate need of quality lighting, also. I can't believe people work in there. It was like a dungeon.

My opinion from my experience.
