Benzmac and older cars

Please do email the directions to this nice shop because I took my car 1987 300e to Benzmac and he refused to work on it because it has too many after market parts. Tha they were a purist shop that could not touch my car or is an aging car bla bla bla and thus recommended me to take to another shop or work on it myself. He did point out some problems that needed to be fixed and said he was sorry he could not help me.

Please let me qualify the above statement about ME. I am not a purist, infact, I love to modify cars. I just have a problem working on a car that appears to be unsafe. No matter how hard I work, I can't feel good about that repair. I have to feel that I am giving an honest value for my services. And in this case I could not.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone, but I have to live and love what I do. I do work on many cars from this board. Many toot my horn because of my ethics. I will stick to them.
