Tennessee
In the Nashville area I would highly recommend using Erol's Autobahn in west Nashville. It's a bit of a drive for me, an hour plus or minus depending on traffic, but well worth the drive. I have used Erol for several years after trying 3 or 4 orther shops. Look for knowledge, honesty, and fairness. He is always very busy but they will usually squeeze me in as I normally wait for the vehicle.

I am new to the MB World and need to have my 99 E320 checked out and serviced. This place in W. Nashville is better than say Franklin MB dealer?
Thanks |

Nashville Shops
Yes, I believe you will be very satisfied with the quality of work. Now understand you may not get all the personalize treatment MB gives you but the qualilty of work is probably better and much less expensive.
Tell Erol or Varkas Dave Shaffer sent you. Erol is from Turkey and has been in business many years. He has an excellent reputation for quality work. There is a very, very famous TV talk host whom everyone knows and her father brings his S600 V12 in for service. He has the money to go to MB. Whenever I go for an oil change or regular maintenance I usually wait and then get me in and out, usually by noon or earlier. You can contact me as deskjs@comcast.net |

I like Erol's too
[QUOTE=DESKJS]In the Nashville area I would highly recommend using Erol's Autobahn in west Nashville
[\Quote] Yep. I love that place. I'm not rich and drive old diesel's but I got a good feeling from them. Stories ... I went in to buy parts one day. I asked for old 300Ds for sale. They had one and said make offer. I jumpe started it , test drove it , offered half of what i could spring for at time on a 80 300CD Rusty as hell, $250. Erol's cashier (sorry dont recall name) said to erol, "Well we might as well give it away" . They seriously thought about it for a minute then Erol left it up to cashier. He charged me $500 and i drove it home. Still drive it now. There is a hole in back floor boord but it drives. Only had to tow it twice -- Fuel strainer in tank completely clogged, Alt pully froze . Another one, Took steering knucle in to have new ball joit pressed in, They charged my $40.00 including the balljoint and tax. Did it in 10 minutes. Also, they gave my kids and I, 2 large pizzas to take home they had left over from lunch. Breakdown , $20 for 2 large Pizzas, $30 ball joint ordered online or at AZone = $50.00 So I made $10.00 going to them and got job done in 15 minutes. Everyone loves these guys. Butch knows his diesel stuff. cheers
