I have been working on a 300TE project. It is time for the alignment. Who can I trust in the Cobb County area to give me a good 4 wheel alignment. I want somebody who can do it right and also not destroy my new rims. I am new to this area so I don't know who can do the work right. Any advice.

You might check with Butler Tire on Powers Ferry Rd in Marietta. Their phone number is 770-973-8622. They do a lot of work on MB Front ends and alignments. Not cheap, but they do good work.

The Best shop in ATL bar none is Gran Turismo East in Chamblee. Their alignment guy (Jeff) has been setting up race/street cars for over 25 years. Kieran @ the front desk has been dealing w/ tyres for almost 20 years.

Everyone there takes the time to do it right, their prices are Very reasonable etc, etc..

Before I moved to Atlanta I would detour through here just to have work done at their shop...at the time I was driving 500 miles from Virginia.

They also do on the car balancing etc..your car will never be as smooth as it is when it leaves their shop.

I second Jonathan's recommendation. Before finding Gran Turismo, I used to drive all the way across Atlanta and pay over $120 for an alignment that was done properly. Now I recommend GTE to all of my clients and they perform any alignment work that I need done. Those guys are the best and have very reasonable prices. If they charged more, I would still be a client. A good alignment shop is very hard to find. Jeff is also skilled at the older Mercs as well.
