I use a couple places. One is the Benz Store on Buford Hwy. Not a real pretty place but they've always been more than fair with me and reasonable in price. 404-325-3966

I also use a individual named Emil Meuller. He's off Huff Rd behind the water works in Atlanta. Has a place beside Ron's Transmissions. 404-351-7455. A little short on personality but a very good mechanic.

My first choice is C.A.R.S. & K.A.R.S. in Marietta. Always VERY knowlegable, very reasonable prices, they do ONLY MB! Great guys. 770 509 1314. Chris or Ken Fett. Tell 'em Mike Froedge sent you!

My 2nd choice if those guys are too busy ( usually not ) is Lugones. They are on Northside Dr. downtown. Also very reasonable.

Usually I'm a do-it-yourself guy, but I go to the pros when I'm in over my head!

I don't mean to overlook Donnie and Autowerks...But I'm downtown and you guys are FAR away! I'm lazy! hahaha....but I'll come up there and visit soon, though, and help support the home team!...

Lugones? If they are who I think they are, just south of 14th street on northside, well.. I've not been real impressed. I stopped in a couple times looking for parts and some service. They're close to my office and it would be real convenient. They were not real cooperative and pricey. I didn't feel as though they needed my business, felt like I was a bother to them. Maybe it's just me?! I need to look in the mirror again.

I'll throw in another one.

Benzwerks in Roswell. Small one owner shop...advertise by word of mouth. He does about 90% MB and the rest BMW.

The guy is a chronic workaholic...you can find him there at 1am if you happen to drive by on a Fri night...

Very pleasant guy to deal with...he'll stand around talking about cars with you for hrs if you so wish...this is good as long as it's not someone else he's talking with while I'm waiting on MY car

capncrunch,

Yeah, Lugones is definitely my "alternate choice"...they aren't exactly overflowing with personality, and I don't think they do retail parts sales, just service. However, I have paid very fair prices there. For a valve adjustment, they just charged me one hour's labor...$65.

I'd choose CARS & KARS over them for sure!

I also reccomend the Benz Store in Atlanta. The guy who runs the place has been there for nearly 20 years. He has always done a good job on the Mercedes owned by my family.

We are having a meet and greet at "Old World Auto" in Lawrenceville Dec 9th. Mat seems to be a very helpful and knowledgeable guy. Come over to the meet and greet and check everything out.
