There is however still the need to check locally on a shop for references.

Not all those listed are service shops...some are VoTech's and other specialized businesses.
The list now covers the whole world and every continent.

I have to agree I am 18 and my first car is or should I say was a 1989 Mercedes-Benz 300E. Jarek worked on the car the entire time I owned it. Repairs for the car were very inexpensive and the largest service was the brakes costing 300 dollars. Sadly the 300E was wrecked a few months ago but keeping in touch with Jarek I have found a 1989 Mercedes-Benz 300CE!! As usual the car is serviced by Jarek and has a new engine and paint job. I would not have found it if it would not have been to him. Jarek Mercedes has to be the best repair shop in eastern Tennessee.

Pete's Garage Nashville TN

Can I promote my own shop ? :) Anyone ever need help with their Benz or any other car in Nashville area, I'm here. I have a shop next to my house with lift and lots of experience with old and new diesels mainly. Have a few parts cars if you need some parts too. Or if you just need a second opion...

Always get a second opinion unless you are sure ... True story , a experience mechanic was going to tell a custom that the injection pump was bad on his 1997 E300D... and the customer was going to scrap the car because the bill would be like 2000.00 to replace the IP . I asked what are the symptoms ? He said "Dies randomly, won't start a lot of times. Codes say diesel injection system. " .. I said, The k40 Relay. I just did it on my sons car with same problem. Sure enough, saved the car.

Anyway, I have a day job but take customers and help people out as they come. I'm much cheaper than traditional shops ;) It would be cool to find a mechanic that wanted to get jobs and work in my shop and have a real business out of it one day ... Matt!
