Nice little shop,, always full of 124, 126 & 129's,,,,, reasonable rates ($75/hour labor) and Rene seems like a decent guy.

I used to go here until I took my 300D in because it would not shut off. I was charged $200 and something dollars for the repair. It would shut off but ran poorly. After inspecting it myself, discovered that the vacuum line to the turbo had been plugged as there was a leak in the a rubber connector. I replaced the connector (50 cents) and the car worked fine. I still own a Mercedes but will never go there again. I do the work myself.

I have heard bad reports about him myself.

I have more than a few vehicles that were "rescued " from him.

the death knell for rene sounded when I found out he put an M110 engine in an '83 300TD because the motor in the TD had "a mystery problem"- he charged the owners of the car $4,200 for the work.

at $40.00/hr for diesels, I have him undercut by almost 50% and my quality of work is very high.
