Shop around Greenville..

I would like to find a place to take my 84 300d and give it a good once over I'm pretty good at replacing parts but when it comes to this car I'm lost as to diagnosing any problems. The car runs ok now but I'm sure there's lots of minor things that could use attention and would love to be able to drop it off and know someone is doing me right

Greenville SC, I posted in the south Carolina section so i was assuming people would think I meant Greenville SC but I guess when it shows new post on the front page it doesn't have the section listed and just says the name of the topic and not that it's posted under the SC section lol

Autobahn Motor Cars, out on Wade Hampton about 3000 almost across from the Wal-Mart. Never had any actual work done there but when I was in Greenville a few years ago working on a couple cars I'd bought there I obtained a few parts from them. It's a very tight shop, clean and organized, the gentleman who owned it was very personable and knowledgeable, and I seem to recall his name was Arthur, but that could be wrong.

There where always some rather nice vehicles in the parking lot and when I was there he had a 190 SL undergoing a full restoration so he's no slouch. No junk vehicles around his shop.

Might be worth it to just go there and make his acquaintance, I'm sure he's not inexpensive but you often get what you pay for so it might be worth it in the long run if your interested in keeping and maintaining your vehicle. Good Luck!

I have passed by there thousands of times I don't know why I didn't think of that place! I'm gonna go over and talk to them... I would love to find a independent or another enthusiast but Can't seem to find one that close.. Like I said I'm pretty mechanically inclined but diagnosing these things has me in the dark lol
