Recommendation for engatwork in Soperton

My 93, 300D 2.5 rolled out of Jim's (engatwork) new shop 6 weeks ago. He installed a new head gasket, timing chain, vacuum pump, water pump, belt pulley, ignition tumbler and a GSXR mod. All that with the exception of the head gasket was PM work. I now have a peppy, reliable 300D. In 5,000 miles I have averaged over 31 mpg.

Four years ago, Jim came to my house to help me and my son install a motor and trans in a 240D Euro which serves as my spare car. He later repaired my 81 SD's ac and it blew cold without being touched again for 3 summers until I sold it.

I have always found Jim to be honest, reliable, talented and reasonably priced. He treats my car like it's his own. I live west of Macon, 105 miles from Soperton, and it's well worth the drive for me to have Jim as my mechanic.

Thanks David, it is a pleasure being an acquaintance and helping you out with Mercedes stuff:).

Here is a picture from this morning.

Jim, how far are you from Savannah?

90 miles west right off of I-16. We actually have a house down there when she is down there working at St Joseph Hospital.
