I may go look at a 99 E300TD in the Atlanta area. The Carfax shows it has been serviced in South Atlanta multiple times, some very very close together in mileage and time and it concerns me a little. Someone on another forum recommended perhaps I have the owner meet me at an independent shop that specializes in Mercedes and will have experience in the W210 cars. The current owner only has service records from when he has owned it, which according to the Carfax is only a tire rotation, what is likely 2 oil changes due to the mileage distance between the two, and another service. Unfortunately Carfax doesn't report what was replaced, only that the car was taken in for service.
