Benz tranny shift shock

Hi,
Do mercedes really have this shift shock from 1st to 2nd gear in the AT transmission? Except from this, all gears shift flawlessly. I already changed the AT fluid but nothing has improved.

The car is a W210 E230. The same engine used in the W202 C230.

I am quite new to the Mercedes ownership and is quite shocked to find this very rough shifting benz compared to other cheaper cars.

Thanks for any help

Check for a worn "FlexDisk".

Common problem is bad/no vacuum to the vacuum modulator, or bad modulator (vacuum diaphragm), on the tranny.
It's function in life is to provide faster shifts under high-throttle (low-vacuum) conditions, so loss of vacuum leads to hard shifts.
