no more "tranny clunk"
 

My 92 300e had developed an annoying clunk when shifting into higher gear.....after reading many posts on the subject, and taking Blackmercedes advice on an excellent shop in Edmonton.... Prestige Auto Repairs...I`m now free of that damn clunk ! Problem....worn / cracked forward drive shaft disk. That and a tranny service and a slight modulator valve adjust, and its a smooth as silk. Thanks Blackmercedes for the referal, Alnoor runs a great shop.
