201 Rims fit 124???

Will 1987 190E 2.3 Rims (15") fit a 1991 300E, which is also running 15" rims?
Or is there something that I am missing?
Thanks!!

The question is if the offset will work.

I do know that W202 15" 8 hole rims look great on a W124. They are a little wider, and give the car a more aggressive stance.

They are definitely 15 hole rims...
But the 8 holes would be nice w/o a doubt!
They're really and (if they fit) would make great snow-tire rims.
Anybody confirm or deny the fit?

The W201 15 hole stock wheel (not 24V) has a 49mm offset compared to the stock eight hole W124 wheel with a 41mm offset. Taken alone, I would not recommend this fitment - but it gets worse. If the W124 has the two-piston front calipers and four-piston rear calipers, the W201 wheel will also not clear the brake calipers.

I had a 190E 2.6 fitted with a set of later 6-hole MB alloys. When I sold the car, I transfered the set over to a 1993 E220 W124. Fitted perfectly with no problems whatsoever.

The W201 set of alloys were purchased from a MB dealer, so they were the correct fitment.

Can't confirm the offset, but I'm sure your dealer can confirm by reference to the part number?

That's right - the eight hole wheels will fit the W124, but we are discussing the 15 hole.

Is the part number of W201 15 hole wheels a W124 part number?
