1982 300 D - compressor
 

My compressor stopped working. When I check the electrical conection to the compressor it does not show any juice going to compressor. Any ideas on what the problem may be or what components I should check?

Jump the low/hi pressure switch on the drier to see if lack of refrigerant is the problem. If the compressor gets power with the switch jumped you are out of gas.

If there is no power to the drier switch check your fuses and then look at the ETR switch behind the glovebox, easy access from beneath.

Steve, thanks for taking the time to respond. Can you tell me how to go about jumping the low/high pressure switch?
