I may need to get a '76 280S from Los Angeles to the Central Coast- About 340 miles. Where is the best place to disconnect the driveline in order to use a dolly? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Nate,
I assume you are wanting to use a single-axle dolly to support the front-end. You have a couple of options: 1. Disconnect drive shaft from rear-end and tranny... complete disconnect. 2. Tow car backwards... Front wheels on ground. 3. Get bigger dolly, to pick up whole car... This is my choice because it is ultimately safer over a long distance. Good Luck getting her there.
