Today I was trying to change the light bulb(turn signal), so I disconnected the negative battery wire, after I've changed the light bulb, I put the negative battery wire back on battery. what had happen is when I started the engine and step on the gas, the battery,ASR and ABS indicator went on, and I couldn't accelerate except I step on the gas very hard, and the car was poping (it's like when I accelerted it, the car was keep going very little bit forward and the fuel cut off and go little bit and fuel cut off. no matter how many times i've tried)
Could anybody tell me why is like this, I just disconnected the battery and that's it.
And also when I turn my headlight on and step on the gas, the headlight burn out, I turn the fog light on, and accelerated it, the fog light also burn out.

my car is 1994 S500 (W140)

Best/Wish
Stephen

If the connection is not making good contact, your voltages will vary with electrical load, or current, demand.

Bad electrical connections put all sorts of interesting voltages on the car's electical system. "Interesting" voltages confuse computers, which then do strange things!

With heavier current load, like when you turn on your lights, the voltage drop could be enough to dim them severly.

Is the battery terminnal clean? Did you get the connector back on correctly?

Try removing the connection, cleaning the post and connector and re-connecting. Don't over tighthen, but make it snug. Gently wiggle the connection when you're done to be sure.

I hope this is all there is to it. Let us know.

Yep, dirty terminals and posts. Get one of those wire battery terminal and post cleaners from the local parts shop. They work great.

It would be interesting to measure the voltage drop across the terminal/clamp here while the lights are on. Probably at least 8 volts. A good connection would be not-measurable.
