380sec cam and valve seal questions
 

now that all the electronics are working, (car sat for 4 years before purchase). The engine burns oil, (tailpipe smoke, cold start and on accell. & consumption), 1qt 500-800 miles, from reading other posts i think im going after valve stem seals. YA WOOPIE. My biggest question is camshafts. The cam lobe that can be seen through the oil fill shows wear, and there is slight ticking when idleing. Are there replacement cams that provide better performance, and/or economy?? Do all the cam followers need to be replaced with a new camshaft?? What else might i expect to need during this undertaking?? The car has 130k and is in great shape so i dont mind spending a little on improvements.
