Want to hard wire connect a radar detector in a '93 500SL. Prefer to position unit via windsheild suction mount in lower left corner of windshield (drivers side) or behind rear view mirror (upper center of windshield). Which point is most convenient for hot lead connection and how can the appropriate connection point(s) be accessed. Want to hide the lead wiring as much as possible.

Inside the center dome light assy, there should be enough wiring to accomplish this.

You will have to remove the mirror and dome light assy housing.
