vibration thru steering wheel-c200
ok,the car is a 1997 c200 uk spec car.
i get this vibration/wobble of the steering but only when i brake to slow down what are the possible causes for this? |

Brake disc irregularities most likely, although the 202 car can easily aquire some amount of this with bad control arm bushings.

Brake rotors
I would have the brake rotors checked out. You can have a good brake shop check the round out. Be sure and replace the pads with the new rotors if they are our of specs.

Brake rotors are suspect first and foremost. I'd also check the drag link/tie rods/ball joints/control arm bushings for wear. A little slop in the front suspension could cause similar complaints, but it is much more likely that the rotors are the cause.
