Rebuild the clutch on a 560SL Air Pump?
 
The clutch on the air pump of my 88 560SL is making chattering noise, but still works. A new one is big bucks. Can you rebuild just the clutch on these? I looked but didn't find any site for that info. Thanks

Don't quote me, but the last time I looked, I believe you could get a new clutch assembly, but very pricey. Just keep in mind a clutch failure could be caused by a defective pump as well.
