96 benz c280

I just worried what grade of ATF I use put in my transmission? ( dexon 3 )?
and what grade of engine oil I should use? (15w30)?

Yes the car uses dextron III atf... Make sure you get a new filter and gasket.
Personally I would go with a synthetic ATF like Royal Purple, Redline etc...

As far as oil grade, some people claim that changes in seasons require different grades. I've run 10w30 in all my mb's with over half a million miles of no problems (that were oil related at least).
Once again, I prefer synthetic, but that is a whole other can of worms that has been discussed to death.

i use Lubro Moly synthetic oil 5W40 (Germany made)

I plan to do a major tune-up on wed
like replace fuel filter,oil change, tran oil and filter change,replace coolant and spark plug.

I use 15w-40 Castrol Syntec -

Of course it's really hot down where I live.


But the benz has never complained.
