My girlfriends alarm transmitter got some water in it and it doesnt work anymore. The alarm is on, so we cant turn on the car. The bad thing is that her car is in a towing enforced parking lot so we need to move it as soon as possible so she wont get towed. Should I disconnect the alarm from the battery? Or will the car still not turn on? I need help fast. Thanks for any help.

Take the transmitter apart. Get some distilled water. Dunk it in the water and use a hair dryer to blow it dry. This can be done with many different types of printed circuit boards. Most usually come back to life after a good drying out.
