The speedometer on my 1991 190E 2.6 started to "wobble" during acceleration and deceleration a few months ago. Now it often wobbles even at steady speed. Is there something that needs tightened, cleaned, oiled, or whatever that will cure this problem? Thanks in advance.

You may need to get some liquid graphite down that speedo cable housing, or it will be in danger of breaking.

My 85 190e had the same problem. I finally fixed it by buying a used speedometer. I though it was the cable too, even bought a new one, but the speedometer was bad.
