E320 Help Needed
 

Last week My precious 1994 E320 was totalled. My son and I are fine, but the car is not. It was a flawless example of a high mileage Mercedes, the result of a torrid love affair between man and machine that many of us savor.
Now my dilemma. I need a replacement and am down to choosing between two cars.

Car #1 is a 1994 E320, al the usual options, 70K and some records for $9999.

Car #2 is a 1995 E320 SPORT, Emerald green, all the usual options, 102K and ALL records since 40k for $12000.

The question is this: Is the sport so significantly different than the regular E320 as to warrant me to spend more for a higher mileage car?

I really do not know what makes teh Sport a sport. Any help will be much appreciated.

Update to last post. I did not buy either car. I bought a BMW 318iC convertible. I have crossed over temporarily. It is not as quick as the E320 and does not ride the same, but it out handles it and has a higher fun factor. I plan to sell it off in a couple months and get an E430 instead. Forgive me for my tempoarary insanity.
