Thanks to this board, I fixed it myself!
I can't thank all of you enough for giving me the courage to open up part of my 420 SEL and replace the blower motor. Having never worked on a MB before I was always leary about trying to take apart something that orginally cost $40,000+. The bearings were bad and the brushes were almost gone too.
I replaced the blower motor and reinstalled the old cage blower wheel on the new motor and completed the job in about 90 minutes. To my surprise everything works great. I love Mercedes! I could not have done it without everyone heres help. Many Thanks |
