Recent Mobil 1/lifter noise thread?
 
I was following a thread yesterday involving an M119 engine (I believe in an S class) where the poster noticed lifter noise after putting in Mobil 1 for the first time.

I can't seem to find this thread. Anyone know where it is?

Some discussion on THIS ONE.

It's diesel oriented, but lifters are lifters, right.

Wel I know in the infiniti forum that while the mobil synthetic is very recommended if you use the 30W you get the lifter sound. It is recommended to use the 20-50 weight.
