having a lot of problems with my euro headlights

Hello all,

I recently got to installing a set of euro headlights (depo) on my W126. did a search on this but only came up with 2 pages of results and nothing about this issue.

I installed them and took em out to aim them. there are 3 knobs to adjust. i know the inner most is for the fog lights. however i can't get the low beam to come down. i tried turning both the other 2 knobs all the way in, or all the way and and it doesn't seem to move the light pattern at all. i popped open the glass to see if they are connected right. and they are.

can someone tell me what exactly do those 2 knobs do? which one is for the height? and is it CW, or CCW to bring it down? i can't go out at night because i fear i will blind all the people on the road :)

thanks for any help.

How about an update regarding your euro lights. Did everything work out?

whoa i did not get a message that someone replied this. thanks for the link.

I ended up taking the glass piece off and the bulb holder too see how it adjusted. and the left/right adjustment were so tight that it did not allow the up/down adjustment to do anything. onced i backed both of the adjustments out all the way and aimed them again tit was all good.

So you didn't get to take advantage of the link I posted during installation. What do you think of the link? Did you go through the same steps?
