Unhappy 1977 350 SLC injection problem

we are currently building up our freshly painted 350 SLC but we ran into a few problems when starting the engine.

The engine starts ( not very easy) and runs quite good until after a few minutes it refuses to idle. When the engine dies it is also impossible to start her up again while she is warm.

The car is equipped with the mechanical fuel injection system and non off the emission control stuff ( european car). all the plugs and leads are new as are the cap and rotor arm. the injectors are tested and cleaned. the pump delivers enough.

I hope someone is able to help us out with this problem, we are getting sick off it!
