Bosche KE FI Manual

I have just bought the official Fuel Inj book from bosche and have copied the section that corresponds to my car (KE-3) as well as tuning section into my laptop (good reading on a plane you know). It goes through the parts and explains the operation of each. If anyone out there would like this information I would be glad to provide...my contribution to the most helpful forum on this earth

I've got an '87 260E, nearly the same car. No EGR. I'd love a copy to my home email. nglitz@optonline.net

Thanks very much. If this violates copyright laws in any way ... well ... I won't tell.

Thanks,

I do realize that there are copy right issues, but I figure if its not the entire book, I do have the origional and I am not trying to make any money off anyone...it would be considered a dispersion of knowledge

Me too. I've a M104.980 engine which I'm pretty sure uses the KE-III injection system.

I've read through the manual pages. The basics are the same, but the system in my car ('87 260E) is "upside down" from the system used to illustrate the manual. In mine, the airflow is "top down" and moves the flap down with increasing airflow. In the manual, the flow is "bottom up" and moves the flap up with an increase. Lots of excellent information on how the silly thing works & what modifies what signal.

Very useful.

Thank you,

I found it really interesting how everything works...hopefully this can help prevent/shed some light on problems people are having,I knew the system was complex but didnt really know how everything worked. I love technical reading....
