The lights on the instrument panel, center console, and glove box ('88 300E) do not come on now. All the other lights appear to be OK. Also the left or right marker lights will not come on at the switch position for that function, although they work in the other settings. Last evening they all worked correctly. I have checked the fuse box and find no problem. Could the light switch be the problem? Any ideas?

Start with the basics...Did you try the dimmer switch o the left side of your instrument cluster? Turn it clockwise. If that does not work, do a search on the subject. Good luck!

I had this problem with the lights.
Apparantly the lights are fibre optic, and the cables fall out of their holders. The overall apearance of the interior is so much better now!!!
