E420 Codes
 

The check engin light is on in my 94 E420. The codes are 2, 20, 26. Can anyone tell nme what these mean?

2 = Heated oxygen sensor inoperative

20 = Speed signal not present

26 = Upshift delay 1 to 2 (model 123.034) , 2 to 3 (all models)

Has your engine wiring harness been replaced?

Unsure if the engine wiring harness been replaced as we have only had the car for a year. That website is valid for my car? (94 E420)

The codes are the same for that engine family in those years.

The reason I asked about the engine wiring harness is that it's a known weak point in MBs of the early 90s through 95. Well bad wiring harness insulation, anyway. Multiple simultaneous engine codes is an indication a wiring harness problem.
