Anyone ever changed bulbs in a window switch on a 300e?
I have an 87 300e and one of my window switches broke a while back. I ordered a new one from parts shop, and when I put it in, the light was way brighter than any of the other switches, due a would imagine to the bulb inside of it being newer. Well, I was tinkering with one of the old ones to see if I could just replace the bulb, and I broke the bulb while trying to remove it.
Does anyone know if there is a special way to remove these bulbs? And if so, are they the typical tiny 1.2 watt bulbs that light up many other items in the 300e? Or do I actually have to buy three more new switches to get them all to shine evenly? Thanks for your time. |
It's not a bulb, it's an LED that's soldered to the circuitry inside the switch.
