91 model, 170K miles. Starting to wander, I know the idler bushings need replacing. I'm going to change the Tie Rod ends also. No real play is evident, but feel it is time to change them. Question. Do the ends on the center steering connector ever wear out? Can't feel any play in them and they are not subject to the same range of angles the tie rods must endure.

Most of the time it is the brake strut mounts that wear out. Be sure to check them. They are on the end of the large bar that changes castor.

If I am over your head, you should take this to a tech. If not, have fun and be safe with your repairs. Your life depends on it.
