engine number question???
 

I am trying to buy valve stem seals for a 83 380 SL. Fastlane has 2 choices, one for engine range 015193 or 015194.

My engine number is 116-962-12-013475

Can't figure it out. :confused:

Usually when there are two choices as you describe, it means that the first part covers car with production numbers up to 015193 and the second part is for cars from production numbers from 015194 on.

Your engine number ending with 013475 appears to fall in the first part category (production numbers up to 015193).

Yeap, extremely nice. Even more when you consider that it takes only a four hour car drive (or 25 minute commuter plane ride) to go from the Pacific to the Caribbean.
