1985 380 SL Idle Control Unit Harness

I just bought a idle control unit for my 1985 380 SL (grey model) and I need the wiring harness so I can plug it in and mount it. It never had one installed when it came into the states. If anyone out there can help my name is Jim and I can be reached at (877) 633-4782 between 9 A.M. and 5 P.M. Monday through Friday Pacific time.

Makes no sense!

If you have some sort of mechanical idle control, then you need to figure out how to adjust it. An idle relay won't do you any good without the idle air valve and its plumbing. You also need wiring from the temp sensor and ignition unit, AC switch, etc. I believe this is all integral to the engine/body wiring harness.

Idle Control Unit

Chuck,
Can you point me in the right direction as to exactly what parts I need so I can be ready if I ever find a mechanic that knows how to install them.
Thanks,
Jim

P.S. You can call me toll free at (877) 633-4782

If you send me an email, I will send you some info off the CD on how the system works and its pieces.
