I am finally getting to my valve adjustment and got to looking at how I get the valve cover off with all the throttle linkages. Do those fancy little ball & sockets just pull off or is there some trick to getting the rods off the balls?

Use a 10mm open-end wrench to pry off throttle ball sockets.

Thanks Bill for your reply. I just discovered for myself that they pry off. Easy as pie.

When they are off, it is a good time to clean and grease them.
