I have a 92 300TE. The drivers side front door window goes up fine and stops when switch is released or when it reaches the top of its travel. when the switch is pressed to go down, the window goes all the way down even if the switch is released. the current will shut off and the window will not go up again by pressing the up possition of the switch. If the ignition is turned off momentarily and turned back on again, the window will rise again when the switch is pushed. What's the problem?

It may be the window switch sticking. Take it out and clean it with contact cleaner. Sometimes hair, spills, dust will interfere with their normal operation...
It is worth to try. Good luck! ------------------ J.H. '86 300E |
