I just completed my valve adjustment which went very well. All were very close to specs except one exhaust valve which was very close. Should I be concerned that the valve is pounding into the seat or was it just a bad adjustment last time?

If you did not personally adjust them last time, you have no way to answer your question short of tearing the engine apart. If you are concerned, recheck that valve in 5,000 miles or so.

Was that particular valve hard to get to. As I recall, the valve that is second from the back of the motor is difficult to get to. If it is this one, someone probably was just too lazy to mess with it.

Best of luck and Happy Thanksgiving,

I did not do the valves or even know when they where done. The valve in question was #3 exhaust. All the rest were real close. In fact I only had to adjust 3 of the 10. The fact that all but one were close is a bit of a concern. I will do as you suggest and check in a few miles.
