The fuel filler flap on my 2004 C230 won't open. I've tried re-setting the smart key and also tried opening manually from inside the trunk (following the manual instructions). Still won't open. Any suggestions? I'm down to 1/4 tank of gas!

This has happened twice on my 2002 C240. You need a new cable for your fuel door. The fuel door on my 20 yr old 190E2.3 has never failed.
